The coronavirus pandemic has shown us that digital technology is a key component of our collective effort to tackle the virus. Technology is also essential for improving health outcomes in Europe, changing the way patients are diagnosed, diseases treated and drugs discovered. 

The programme of the 2020 CONNECT University Autumn School highlights how digital solutions in the health sector could bring significant benefits to citizens and businesses. This live-streamed event taking place from 21 September to 2 October targets people seeking to advance their knowledge of digital health and those interested in finding out about a completely new field of interest.

PANACEA Involvement and Insights

EC CONNECT University has invited PANACEA to present its frontline experiences in dealing with the COVID crisis.

Dr. Med. Sabina Magalini from the Gemelli University Hospital in Rome will be giving a presentation entitled The PANACEA Project: A people-centric cybersecurity toolkit for hospitals, in "peace" and "covid" times on 28 September in the session on "Cybersecurity: A priority for healthcare delivery" from 14:00 to 16:00.
