Healthcare facilities large and small must be proactive and move quickly to protect themselves from cyber-attacks that could directly impact the health and safety of patients and the community at large. According to medical health experts experienced in cybersecurity preparedness, cyber-attacks are the top threat in many healthcare systems’ annual Hazard Vulnerable Analyses (HVA). Healthcare systems, government agencies, and other partners have worked diligently to defend against the growing number of cyber-attacks on the healthcare industry.

Hosted by ASPR-TRACIE, Healthcare Emergency Preparedness Information Gateway, this webinar on 18 March 2021 at 18:30 CET (1:30-2:45 pm ET) shares experiences and tangible lessons learned in responding to cybersecurity incidents. The webinar builds on the recently published Healthcare System Cybersecurity: Readiness and Response Considerations document (February 2021) and accompanying overview presentation on how to use the resource.
