The digitisation of healthcare services is bringing about a paradigm shift in the industry with a shift towards the increasing adoption of the Internet of Medical Things. Medical devices bring many benefits, such as improved innovation and performance. However, acceptability and usage of this technology face privacy concerns and security threats.
This research paper, Threat Intelligence and Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) - IJETA 2020, investigates the challenges through a systematic literature review approach surveying threat intelligence and IoMT in the healthcare industry.
The findings show that IoMT is a viable and intelligent application used by most medical organisations. However, the cybersecurity threat is a constant challenge. Nonetheless, IoMT-SAF is a recommended solution for cybersecurity threats linked to IoMT.
